Weight Management Programs

With your compliance, the Weight Management Center's medically-supervised programs can bring you from start weight to healthy goal weight in a supportive, high-tech environment.

Each program is accompanied with our Online Health Coach tool - a secure portal for our patients to send us non-urgent questions and health concerns, and to receive weekly correspondence from our patient care coordinator. Personal food diaries are also tracked and submitted using this private, online tool.

Individual programs vary, though many patients follow one of the following protocols:

Supplemented Fasting Program:
A high-protein plan for patients with more than 50 pounds to lose, the supplemented fasting program provides 500-800 calories per day with nutritional supplement shakes and puddings. The combination of supplements provides the recommended intake of vitamins and minerals, as well as a healthy balance of protein and carbohydrates.

The supplemented fasting program requires medical clearance. Eligibility is determined through a physical exam, analysis of prior health history, and results of laboratory and diagnostic tests.

Patients on this program are monitored weekly by our bariatric medical staff, and are required to complete lab work bi-monthly to monitor health and ensure personal safety. Upon completion of the supplemented fasting program, patients consult with their providers to begin the long-term maintenance phase.

Modified Supplemented Fasting Program
An 800-1,200 daily calorie plan, this program incorporates one healthy meal per day in the supplemented fasting track. Eligibility is determined in a physical exam, including lab and diagnostic test results.

Prescription Medication and Food Program:

Prescription appetite suppressants are used in conjunction with a healthy meal plan in this closely-monitored medication/food program. Eligibility is determined through a physical exam, analysis of prior health history, and results of laboratory and diagnostic tests. Patient’s health and progress are monitored bi-monthly in the office.
